The active ingredients are primarily inorganic water-soluble bromide compounds. The exact mechanism of action is unknown; however, it is likely affecting immune cell function. The active ingredients of Loma Lux® AcnePill™ are all listed in the literature of homeopathic medicine as having been empirically found to be effective in treating the symptoms of acne through helping regulatory mechanisms rebalance themselves.

There should be no side effects. There should be no interactions with any other drugs (birth control, vitamins, etc.) that may be taken with the product (whether it is for the same problem or not).

It depends on the person and the problem. Many people see improvement in two to four weeks. Results do vary. You must take according to directions and continue for at least a full six weeks.

Any time is fine, but most people take it in the morning. Take your recommended dosage only once a day. For best results, chew the tablet slightly and allow it to dissolve in your mouth.
